Sun Do is an ancient holistic practice that combines yoga postures, structured breathing meditation, and exercises to increase strength and flexibility. Originally from Korea, Sun Do is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and philosophical Taoism.

About Sun Do
Sun Do is a technique for stimulating internal energy (called “Ki” by the Japanese and Koreans, & Qi or Chi by the Chinese), through breathing exercises, postures, and meditation. The energy thus gathered is then used to establish and maintain the various balances: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Sun Do’s theoretical approach is the same as in acupuncture: by acting on the energy channels of the body, called “meridians,” you achieve a state of relaxation and inner calm, thus balancing the body and mind. The basic Sun Do exercises, although mostly very gentle, greatly improve flexibility and physical ease, which allows the practitioner to feel more at ease in their body.
